The Investor Targeting Brief

The brief to complete before you run an investor screen: who you want on the register, why they should own you now, and who you will not pursue.

Most targeting campaigns fail before they even start, because nobody defines what a good holder looks like. This brief has ten fields across three sections, each with four to six questions that build the answer rather than assume it. It includes the capacity calculation most teams skip - whether the investor can build a position at all, given your free float and daily traded value - along with a page on what a weak answer looks like and a completed worked example. One brief covers one campaign and one investor profile; two profiles require two briefs.
